Department information

The Department of Agricultural Ecology and Natural Resources was established in 2013 in order to participate in  academic researches, expertise and advisory work to solve agricultural and environmental problems. Department work includes sustainable use of agricultural land, preservation of quality and fertility of agricultural land, emissions and sinks problems in agriculture, reducing influences of agricultural activity on ground and surface waters, preservation of natural resources (soil and water) and biodiversity, integrated use of pesticides against weeds and pests, geoinformatics of soil and environment.

Our aim is to integrate research and expert institutions and services at home and abroad and to directly provide support to farmers, public administrators, environmentalists and educational institutions.
