Indigenous variety originating from pre-alpine region of Slovenia
Inkara is an annual overwintering clover with medium to high height with large, dark green leaves that have no brighter spots. It blossoms in the second half of April or the first half of May. It has good resistance to low temperatures, lodging and diseases. The yields are very large, with medium to large content of crude proteins. It is used primarily for fresh feed; it is also suitable for making a blend with Italian rye-grass and other annual overwintering catch crops.

The plants have medium height with large, wide green leaves. It has very good resistance against diseases and good resistance against lodging. The yields are large, with a large content of crude proteins. It is suitable as fresh feed or for silaging.

Slovenian indigenous variety originating from pre-alpine climate region of Slovenia.
The diploid variety has lower, half-upright growth with medium long, narrow bright green leaves. It has good overwinter properties, medium resistance to lodging and diseases. It is suitable for mowing and grazing. The yields are large. It can also be sowed in two- to three-year blends.

The plant has a brighter green colour, medium height, is resistant to lodging, the panicle is long and bent. The colour of grains ranges from bright brown to yellow brown, is medium thick and ripens unequally. The variety is suitable for groats, also for animal feed. The Sonček proso millet is produced as the main standing crop or as stubble catch crop. It tolerates dry summers very well.

Annual overwintering animal feed plant with high, upright and strong stems. The leaves are on medium-long stalks and green with waxy down, the bottom side of leaves is slightly brighter. The blossoms are bright yellow. It is resistant to lodging and to cold. It has a great regenerative capability; the yield of green fodder is good. It can be used as a stubble non-overwinter animal feed catch crop, overwinter animal feed crop or for green manure.

Indigenous Slovenian variety
The plant has medium height with reddish stems. At the beginning of blossoming, the buds are slightly pink and during full bloom the blossoms are small and white and thus attract bees. The grain ripens gradually, is medium thick and grey-brown to dark blue in colour. The yields are good. It is excellent for groats and flour. The Čebelica buckwheat is suitable for production as the main standing crop or as stubble catch crop. Slightly dry summers are much more suitable for its growth.
