The Agricultural Institute of Slovenia is managed and represented by the Director, who serves as the executive body for a five-year term. The Management Board is the governing body that appoints and dismisses the Director, commissions, and other working bodies; adopts general acts, the development strategy, work programmes, and the Institute’s reports; and decides on economic and material matters. The Scientific Council is the professional body that discusses and provides opinions on regulations, programmes, reports, and other acts; conducts elections to academic and research titles; and guides the development of research and professional work within the fields of activity of the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia.
