wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>Diagnostic laboratory of the Plant Protection Department (OVR-LAB) consists of four laboratories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Nematology Laboratory<\/b><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Entomology Laboratory<\/b><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Mycology Laboratory<\/b><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Virology and Bacteriology Laboratory<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>The following tasks are carried out in the Diagnostic Laboratory of the Plant Protection Department (OVR-LAB):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Laboratory analyses for plant pests using accredited and non-accredited diagnostic methods for nematodes, insects, fungi and oomycetes, plant viruses and viroids, and bacteria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintenance of collections of nematodes, insects, fungi and oomycetes, viruses and viroids and bacteria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research projects involving work with quarantine and other pests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other activities of official and national reference laboratories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The diagnostic laboratory of the Plant Protection Department is designated as a <\/span><b>Quarantine station<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by the UVHVVR.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following <\/span><b>National Reference Laboratories<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (NRLs) and <\/span><b>Official Laboratories<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (OLs) for the determination of plant pests are operating within the Diagnostic Laboratory of the Plant Protection Department:<\/span><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National Reference Laboratory for plant parasitic nematodes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Reference Laboratory for viruses, viroids and phytoplasmas: viruses and viroids of crops, fruit trees and vines (consortium partner)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National reference laboratory for fungi and oomycetes: on crops, vegetables and fruit plants, oomycetes on all plants (consortium partner)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Reference Laboratory for Insects and Mites: insects and mites on agricultural and ornamental plants (consortium partner)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Official laboratory for plant parasitic nematodes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official laboratory for viruses and viroids on fruit trees, vines and crops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official laboratory for fungi and oomycetes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official laboratory for insects and mites on agricultural and ornamental Accreditation<\/h2>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Diagnostic Laboratory of the Department of Plant Protection is <\/span><b>accredited by the Slovenian Accreditation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as a <\/span><b>testing laboratory according to SIST EN ISO\/IEC 17025:2017<\/b><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
