Dr. Saša Širca – Euphresco scientist of the month
Euphresco is the network of organizations, that finance the research projects and coordinate the national researches in the field of phytosanitary. The basic aim of Euphresco is to support the harmonisation and cooperation of the phytosanitary researches.
Dr. Saša Širca from Plant Protection Department at the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia was appointed for the scientist of the month by Euphresco. Dr. Saša Širca works on diagnostics, epidemiology, plant parasitic nematodes, and he is also the leader of the Euphresco project MeloTrop.
