Long-term scientific cooperation with the Institute for Animal Husbandry from Serbia

On Friday, May 26th, 2017 the Animal Production Department of the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia hosted the executives of the Institute for Animal Husbandry Belgrade - Zemun.

Director of the Institute for Animal Husbandry Dr. Milan M. Petrović and Head of the Department of Pig Breeding and Genetics Dr. Čedomir Radović presented the state of the art of the livestock sector in Serbia to the Slovenian colleagues. Dr. Andrej Simončič, the Director of the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia (KIS) highlighted the successful common results of both Institutes in the project Treasure (Horizon 2020), which is coordinated by Dr. Meta Čandek-Potokar from the Department of Animal Production at KIS. Due to the implementation of a new development projects the institutions signed an agreement on long-term scientific cooperation.
