In 2017, I joined the Agricultural Economics Department at the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia. My main research work consists of the monitoring of the state and development of agriculture in Slovenia. I annually compile the supply and use balance sheets for selected agricultural products, analyse external trade with agri-food products, and analyse the state of some key areas of the Slovenian agri-food sector at the national level.
I am actively involved in many national and international research projects related to agricultural economics, sustainable agriculture, food supply chains, agricultural land market, and agricultural policy in the countries of the former Soviet Union.
