- biological testing (evaluation of efficacy and phytotoxicity) of herbicides in agriculture according to the principles of good experimental practice (GEP)
- the fate and behavior of PPPs in the environment
- development of environmentally friendly weed control technologies in accordance with the principles of integrated weed control (IWM)
- development of sustainable production systems, tillage technologies and measures to reduce the environmental impact of agriculture
