Good Experimental Practice (GEP)
In 2011, we obtained a certificate for good experimental practice (GEP) granted to us by the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Food Safety, Veterinary and Plant Protection (called Phytosanitary Administration at the time).
The certificate means that the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia meets the conditions prescribed by international standards for performing tests and analyses for determining the effectiveness of plant protection products (PPP). The certificate is a condition for performing tests of PPP effectiveness for the purpose of their registration. The good experimental practice prescribes the rules regarding organisation, performance, technical equipment and staff for performing such tests.
